Meet Virgil Revish
Hello, my name is Virgil Revish. I am an author, consultant, speaker, and mentor. I taught at junior high until I joined the U.S. Army and served for 3 to 6 years. Due to my devotion to students and education, I returned to teaching. I taught in Fairfax, Va. for years. Later I worked at Petersburg Wastewater Treatment Plant, testing water samples and reading meters. From September 1995 to June 1999. I started a volunteer program called "School Watch" in Six Petersburg School.
In 2000. I worked in an after-school program called "Achievers Plus at the Children's Home of Virginia Baptist. I continued to pursue opportunities to serve students and the community. I worked with other visionaries and committed community leaders to encourage the youth. I am also the "Associate Producer" of the "Pull Your Pants Up" project and video, a nationwide initiative designed to encourage the youth to be responsible, accountable, and prepared to meet and exceed the acceptable societal standards and rise above the norm.
